LAA-CORE ASSESSMENT

LAB:

The four drawn images are of my new uprising artist 'Amara'. I made theses four drafts to give me an idea of how I wanted my tour poster and promotional poster to look like. I picked the first two images as I thought it would go well with my genre and how I wanted to composition my posters. I realised that I didn't add any social media logos and the other conventions needed for the promotional poster but for next time I will add all the conventions needed so that I don't struggle or make it look rushed. The screenshots are from my survey that I sent out to people, to see what elements are compulsory in my chosen genre and people's opinion of how they view my genre. There is also an image of an Instagram layout so that when I create my Instagram account it would look similar or a bit different.

LAC:

In my opinion, I think that both my promotional poster was great as I like how the composition of the poster is organised and looks very clean. However, I think that that the tour poster could've been a bit better especially with the use of typography as I feel like it wasn't done to the best of my ability. My TV advert could've been up to a better standard as I felt like it was rushed and not enough shots were used. For next time I will stick to my storyboard and have more of the same shots. I also included three platforms to promote my new artist, as I made two print posters, a Tv advert and an Instagram account giving 'Amara' more attention to herself as she is an uprising artist.

LAD:

The screen shots below are from my survey that I made for my fake artist. I like how most of them were being honest and not just being bias. For example, in my last screenshot I like how someone was being honest that Instagram could not be the best option for promoting a new artist. I chose the name 'Amara' as I thought it would be suitable for my genre and the gender of my artist as it is a feminine name and also from African origin. The name of my album is called 'Exotic' as I wanted it to link to her culture, the background of her album has connotations of the world exotic, the reason why I didn't want to add a picture of my artist is because, I wanted to show the music industry that Music is faceless but this might be a disadvantage as the audience may want to know what she looks like and how she portrays herself through her music.

In my opinion, I think that the analytics were useful and helpful to help my artist 'Amara' grow more followers and look like a realistic account. The screenshots show how many accounts my page has reached and how many accounts have engaged with 'Amara's' instagram account.
